Filming the 'Bullies'

Today we did filming of the main girls of the trailer, this was the scene where they started arguing because they felt that Aubrey was changing as a person.

A challenge that we fasted was having all the girls at the same time to film. As they have different lessons to each other and too use it was hard to get them all to film. We previously did filming from the upstairs through the window, today we was able to film one of the girls to be looking down at Hayley from the window as we couldn't get that before.

Filming From Upstairs

Today we did some filming from upstairs in our college. We filmed through the window as you will see from the pictures below. This was a bit challenging because holding the camera steady and in that angle as well as, moving it along as she walks is almost impossible. After taking a lot of shots for this thought that we achieved the right one. This scene was inspired by Halloween (1978) when Laurie looks through the window and sees Micheal looking up at her from the back garden.

Filming Establishing Shots

We did filming of establishing shots for the beginning of our trailer. We wanted to show that the film starts in a school and most of the serious events happened in the school. The location of this is outside our sixth form and the lower school building.

How to make the bruise on Hayley's arm

In some of the scenes in my the trailer there are close ups of Hayley's arms and legs showing the bruises she had from being beaten up. The way we created the bruises on her body was to mix dark blue and black paint, then rub it into her arm or leg.

Filming scenes in the bathroom

We film a scene with Hayley crying in the toilets. To get the effect of tears on her face she applied water from a tissue and created tear drops.

We filmed from a high angle to get a variety to shots in the trailer. This scene is Hayley sitting on the toilet crying as she just endured bullying from a group of girls.

We finally have a name!

After intense thinking and consideration we have finally chosen a name for our trailer. We found it hard to choose the name but in the end we did it. Our trailer's title is Echoing Evil. This is the name we chose because it symbolises evil coming back. This links to our trailer as Hayley commits suicide and comes back to haunt all the girl's who bullied her.

Locations

This is a corridor in my college. We have chosen this as one of our locations because our horror trailer starts in a school.

This is another angle of the room we will be using for our trailer. As you can see there is a window in the room which we have had ideas about using, my group and I think we could use this to have the ghost standing on the other side of the window.

Locations for Filming Scenes

This is one of the rooms that my group and I have chosen to use for a interrogation scene in our trailer.
Shooting Schedule

From previous experience I have noticed that planning is important and makes things much easier. This is why we have to produce a shooting schedule. This tells us the dates and times if when we will be filming and what we will be filming.
